The Come Up Project (TCUP) is a member-owned coop that provides employment and entrepreneurial opportunities to the formerly incarcerated that live in underserved communities. One of the first programs designed by TCUP is Gangstas to Growers. This program focuses on empowering at-risk youth and our formerly incarcerated through agriculture, employment, and entrepreneurship. The Come Up Project combats youth recidivism rates by offering programming that teaches a holistic array of life skills. One of our team members worked with the founder years ago to develop a pilot program and curriculum that merged gardening, farming and urban agriculture with education on the prison-industrial system, self-care, and mentorship.

Sustainable Community Solutions was brought on to help provide structure, organizational support and strategize, in addition to, programming support. Connecting leadership with sustainable manufacturers and packagers, supporting capacity development, impactful curriculum and activities.
